Giambattista, founder and CEO of Intertech has a long experience in the world of technology. SDA Bocconi MBA, he worked in the most prestigious Italian management consulting company until the late 90's, dealing with strategic and organizational restructuring for corporations like Finmeccanica, DEA, Elsag, FIAT GROUP and major banks both in Italy and abroad.
At the end of 1999 Giambattista was coopted to join Tiscali as COO (Chief Operating Officer), participating in what will undoubtedly be defined as the most significant European experience of the New Economy.
Left Tiscali in 2003 Giammbattista, along with his younger brother Freancesco, founds Intertech Consulting.
Francesco Giannoccaro, Founder and Chief Technology & Strategy Officer
Franceco can be defined as an IT addicted, in love with computer science since adolescence. After completing his studies in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan, Francesco began his professional career in 1996 in Assofin (Italian Association of Consumer Credit Banks) developing a software in Java to calculate the TAEG and TAN, the Italian rate parameters, equivalent to APR (Annual Percentage Rate) official rates for borrowing. At the same time he is actively involved in several conferences on GNU/Linux operating system, and he specialized his skills on Unix operating systems and open source technologies. From 1998 to 2001 he takes part to the activities of the Technical Committee for Information Technology and Security of ABI (Italian Banking Association). Between 2001 and 2003 he acquires all Red Hat certifications (world leader in the development of the enterprise Linux technologies): Linux system administrator, Linux Networking and Security Specialist, Red Hat Certified Engineer. In 2003 he found Intertech Consulting, the first IT company in Italy specialized in open-source technologies.
